Dr. Anthony "Tony" Mazzaferro brings to our podium a musical background
that is both deep & broad. He earned his music degrees from San Francisco
State University, Northwestern University, and Arizona State University. He is
currently Chair of the Music Department at Fullerton College where he conducts
the Symphonic Winds and the Fullerton Community Band as well as teaching
Tuba and Euphonium.
He has conducted numerous honor bands and orchestras throughout the
Western and Midwestern U.S., Canada and New Zealand. He has adjudicated
music festivals from Texas to Singapore. Locally he has conducted the
Claremont Winds, a highly selective ensemble, for the past ten years providing
the area with exceptional performances of the finest in band literature.
