Dr. James Lytthans has been a member of PCB for over 55 years, having joined at age 13.  He retired as a teacher of instrumental music from the Los Angeles Unified School District after 35 years of service.  He is an active professional clarinetist.

Dr. Miyoshi Feliciano has played trumpet for 39 years, including 10 years with the Pomona Concert Band.  She is a graduate of Berklee College of Music, with a major in Film Scoring.  She subsequently received her doctorate degree in Chiropractic in 1995 and has a private practice in Whittier, California.

David Schaafsma, PCB tubist, attended California State Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, from 1971-76 and California State University Long Beach from 1977-78.  He is currently one of the Assistant Directors of the Ontario/Chaffey Community Show Band.  He founded and directed the Sound Machine of the Inland Empire Youth Band based in Upland and Chino from 1984-1999.  He also was the Musical Instructor for the Long Beach Junior Concert Band from 1975 to 1982 and again from 2008 to 2012.

Douglas Mckenna, is a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music where he earned his Master's Degree in Trumpet Performance.  He is currently the Instrumental and Vocal Instructor at Montclair High School.  Under his direction and leadership, the music program has grown from 45 to 200 musicians in the last four years.  He is also one of the Assistant Directors of the Ontario/Chaffey Community Show Band.

Brent Decker is a graduate of the USC School of Music with a Bachelor's degree in Trombone Perfommance.  He completed his Credential at California State University at Los Angeles, where he served as Graduate Assistant Conductor for the bands and Jazz Studies program.  He is a former Director of Bands at Don Bosco Technical Institute in Rosemead, CA.  He has performed professionally in many venues over the years.  He plays euphonium for PCB.

Christopher Northrop, a product of the Pomona Schools, is currently the band director at Fontana High School, a position he has filled for 12 years.  He graduated from Ganesha High School, earned his B.A. at California State University San Bernardino.  He plays trumpet in the PCB.

Kerry Kline, trombonist for PCB, recently moved from Florida to Southern California to pursue advanced studies in Music Education and Performance.  He brings with him several years of classroom experience in band and orchestra conducting.
